Pu’ukohola Heiau Visitor Center

This project provided a new visitor center of about 3,275 sq. ft plus a comfort station. With curved glue-laminated girders, the roof of the visitor’s center is designed to evoke the shape of a wave. Roof framing has been supported on 3 sides by masonry walls (with a lava rock fascia) and by a reinforced concrete frame on the remaining side.
