PACAF Headquarters Renovation Building 1102

Building 1102 Renovation, Multiple Phases, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam.  This building has a unique and colorful history.  When constructed, its many wings made up the largest barracks building in the United States, and have since been repurposed as the central Pacific Air force Headquarters and other functions.

The building survived a bomb blast through the roof along with bullet strafing during World War II, which has been meticulously preserved and featured in the multi-phase renovation.  The renovation is extremely challenging, designed to maintain continued operation of the essential functions through a complex phasing strategy.
