280 Beachwalk Waikiki, Hawaii

This 34,000 sf project transformed an empty lot bounded by Beach Walk, Saratoga Road and Kalakaua Avenue into a two-story multi-purpose retail, restaurant and office building, including Hard Rock Cafe Waikiki. The project integrated a steel frame with a concrete masonry exterior walls, structural wood elements at the storefront and a foundation system, designed to minimize penetration below the water table. It also included Hard Rock Cafe and other tenant improvement.
